We are seeking a well-rounded and experienced Commercial Manager who will develop and diversify our incoming waste and product sales solutions. You will be responsible for sourcing new supply chains of waste coming into the business as well as finding markets for recovered material – eg. steel, wood chip and gypsum. You will also need to actively seek, build and grow solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance. Key to the role will be to establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, processors and end-users, plus other associated industry professionals.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Proven experience and success working in a targeted sales environment.
- Ability to identify dynamic sales solutions.
- Relevant business qualification.
- Relevant experience in a similar environment/role or in commodities is preferable.
- Self-motivated and works to strict deadlines.
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication is a must.
- Computer literate.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Strong relationship builder and team player.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
